Answers to the questions we get most. If yours isn't here, get in touch at the bottom.
How do I get help or report a bug?
Use the in-app feedback form (Profile → Settings → Feedback). It's anonymous — no email or account is attached — so if you'd like a reply, email us instead using the address below.
Does my data sync between my devices?
Yes. Workouts, meals, body measurements, goals, and your XP and achievements sync through your own private iCloud account. Progress photos are the exception — they stay on the device that took them and are never uploaded.
What does Ironhold Pro include?
AI meal photo scanning, unlimited food searches, full workout history, unlimited templates, custom programs, progress and nutrition charts, data export, and iCloud sync. Monthly or annual — current pricing is shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy.
How does AI meal scanning work, and is there a limit?
Take a photo of your meal and it's identified automatically, with estimated portions and macros you can adjust before logging. The photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude API through our own server, processed, and immediately discarded — see the Privacy Policy for the full detail. You're asked to agree before the first scan, and you can turn it off any time in Settings → Data.
Pro includes 150 scans per month, resetting on the 1st. That's a generous allowance for normal use; the limit exists because each scan has a real cost.
Can I import my history from another app?
Yes — Profile → Settings → Import. Ironhold reads CSV exports from Strong, Hevy, and other common trackers, and matches exercises to its own library, asking you to confirm anything ambiguous.
Why are some foods missing or wrong?
Food data comes from OpenFoodFacts and USDA FoodData Central, both public databases contributed to by the community, so coverage varies by region and product. Norwegian products are curated separately for better accuracy. If something's wrong, Quick Entry lets you log it manually.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: on your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Ironhold. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep Pro until the current period ends.
How do I delete my account and data?
Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This removes your locally stored data and your iCloud sync data. It cannot be undone.
Do I need an Apple Watch or any other hardware?
No. Ironhold works on iPhone alone. If you use Apple Health, it can read and write workouts, steps, body metrics, and nutrition — but that's optional.
